I am concerned about hair in this food..First, The statement that this is some kind of meat marbeling or conective tissue is BS...That sort of thing doesn't stick out of the kibble and feel like a hair so it's either hair or some kind of artificial substance.
Second, Where did it come from the animal that was killed for the food or the sweepings from the slaughter house floor.
Third, I'm not paying damn near 50 bucks for a bag of hair. Natura claims to use human grade ingredients...Would you eat a steak at sizzler that had hair sticking out of it...
It is my job to keep my animal safe... she relys on me to provide her with edible foods not hair or blue plastic/rubber or what ever it is..

I have been watching this thread for a few days....I too had a problem with Innova dog food green bag 33lbs...My German Shepherd had been eating this food for about 3 years...With the last bag I got, she began acting listless, not interested in much of anything (including her food), had gastric upset problem...basically all of the same indications that were reported in this thread. I checked the kibble...it was exactly the same as was pictured here. Lots of little white grains and some black ones. I took her off the Innova, returned the remained to the store, and put her on California Naturals Lamb. Within 48 hours, she was back to normal in all respects. I also found a small piece of blue rubber-like material in a can of California Natural Chicken and Rice. It may be coincidence, but it sure doesn't seem like it. She was obviously ill (for more than a week), and taking her off of the Innova fixed her up in a matter of a couple of days. Now we're a bit concerned about the California Natural Kibble, But she seems to be doing fine with it.

We were at a local pet store recently and they said the holistic food and the raw stuff has been flying off the shelves. Good news....
I was at my Local pet store and was told the same thing...The lady who runs the store asked if I thought people would continue to bye the holistic foods....My thoughts are some will.. but once this all dies down..People will go back to cheaper brands...Not because they want to...But because it's what folks can afford...What do you guys think?
