We bought 2 fresh turkeys (Connecticut farm) $2.69 at a local grocer.  These were big ones.  Not much $$ left for the trimmings.  Last year was the first time I ever purchased a local turkey.  It reminded me of the turkeys we had at Thanksgiving when I was a child.  The price went up a lot since last year IMO.

This product is being recalled because it may possibly contain an undeclared milk protein. There was one reported incident of an allergic reaction associated with the consumption of the product. The product is manufactured by Swan Gardens/Tree of Life, Austell, GA. This recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the Food and Drug Administration.
