General Pet Information / Misc/Other Pet Discussions / Can't decide between foods. Allergy issue.

I have three rescue kitties. One of which has an allergy, but we are not aware of what it is. It's either chicken or corn/grains. I have a couple options for allergy foods, but honestly, I'm not crazy about any of them. All three of the cats have been on Natural Balance Green Pea & Duck for about 4 months now, with no problems whatsoever. I really don't like NB though. The consistancy of the food is always different. Sometimes my cats like it, sometimes they don't. That scares me. After the recalls I told myself I'd never feed them that brand, but this allergy developed and I had no choice. Basically, my choices that I'm aware of are Natural Balance Green Pea & Duck (they get wet and dry) or IVD (Royal Canin) Green Pea & Duck. Both are grain free and don't have chicken. I don't like Royal Canin either, but both of these foods have almost the exact same ingrediants. Does anyone have an opinion on which would be more safe? I guess it's hard to say. Both companies have had their issues, but I just want to trust what I feed my babies which is hard to do now after all this mess. Any opinions or other brands that could be suggested?

I've been feeding my 3 cats Wellness Indoor Health for about 2 months. For some reason the Indoor Health formula is very hard to find in my area so I tried out both flavors of the Complete Health (they're easier to find) and they pretty much refused to eat it (especially the salmon, it made my whole apartment stink), but they love the Indoor Formula. They're all doing very well on it and love the flavor. I'm concerened about how many grains are in it, but other than that its a great food.
