My cat vomits felidae every time I feed it to him, i tried two different flavors (varieties). He vomited both shortly after eating them. I even waited like a year in between tries, still vomits. I had him try the dry, he hates it. He will not eat the dry food. The canned food is what he eats then vomits.

I have been feeding this to my kitten (7 months old) and my cat who is 10 years old. They love this dry food. It is a little expensive so I bought a bag of felidae dry food and they hate the felidae. They clean the bowl of wellness kitten dry. No problems. There has been some vomiting but I think that is from the testing of new canned foods because my kitten is very fussy and doesnt want to eat the canned foods i have been giving her and there has been some vomiting and its clearly the canned food vomited.

My kitten wont eat dry food now. I did put some water on some dry food in a bowl and one of the two cats ate that. The kitten is around 6 months old. She is very vocal. The minute I walk in the door she is meowing until I give her canned food. I found cans of triumph on sale so I bought them and she loves them. But she still doesnt want to eat the wellness. My older cat will eat wellness. So I am still strugling with the same issue. That triumph I bought was discontinued or something so I bought all they had except ones with beef. I am almost out of the triumph and the old mother hubbard cans I have been giving her. I will need to venture out and find another brand of canned food to feed her. I was considering trying other flavors of wellness. I did give her chicken/ lobster or something and she ate it once but wouldnt eat it the next time I gave it to her. She is so fussy. But if your saying your cat doesnt want to eat wellness anymore maybe its changed. I was warned that people have stopped buying it once they heard it would be sold at petco. They feel it is less quality because of that.

Pet Food Info (Menu Foods, Iams, Purina, Hills, Ol'Roy, etc.) / Your Problems with Pet Food / Merrick Cat Food Question

I am curious why no one here mentioned that Merrick owns a rendering plant and its located on the same property of the pet food manufacturing plant. That is extremely suspicious. Road kill, euthanized animals, diseases animals, just about anything goes into the rendering plant. This is why I cannot buy Merrick. I wish I could because after many days reading about different pet foods I cannot find one I trust to feed my cat!

I tried the new Halo dry cat food. My 10 yr old male cat and my 5 month old kitten like it. I don't like the fact that they added salt into it. It was on sale at petco so i tried it. I would buy it again since they eat it. It is small pieces, smaller than the wellness dry cat food. I figured that is good for the kitten. The kitten still begs for some canned food. I dont feed Halo canned, I agree its too watery, too many veggies and the cat doesnt like it much and its way too expensive. The kitten nibbles on the halo dry food and begs me for canned food when i come home from work and in the morning.

I have been feeding my cat wellness grain free canned and the dry food for a couple months. I have not seen any problems with it. I adopted a kitten and she will not eat the wellness canned food I give them. The chicken and turkey ones. She loves canned food. I adopted her and she came with some purina kitten food. After she finished that I gave her the wellness and she hates it. I found some old mother hubbard cans at ocean state job lot and she will eat those. Well that store ran out of them and I haven't seen those for sale anywhere else. I know old mother hubbard makes wellness, thats the only reason i felt it was safe to feed her that food even though it did contain by products. Anyway I struggled with decided what other canned foods I trust. I really don't trust any! It has driven me so crazy I just decided to give her some 9 lives canned food and she absolutely loves it. My cats share the food so they both eat it. they only had a couple cans of it so far. I know that is bad cat food, I only fed the two flavors with no protein concentrate ingredients. But still, I am not sure what is safe to feed her since she does not like wellness canned and even though there will be some wellness dry , which she will eat , or some Halo dry food which she also will eat, she begs and begs for some canned food but will sniff and walk away from the wellness canned!

Hey Lanie, My boyfriend and I are broken up. Last Sunday night. Since then I have found a condo, I just made an offer a few minutes ago and I'm waiting on the response. So me and my kitty will have a place of our own. His kidney levels are all normal now. He has not been vomiting since he has just been eating Innova canned, Spot's Stew and dry California Natural. He seems to be doing pretty well now. I hope I get that condo!!!!
