He does have that wise statesman look that makes you want to put all your trust in him for running the country.

Yes, talking about Klondike's dog.  She has the little logo under Poco's current photo "Poco for President 2008!!!"

I think he would do a better job than the current administration.   Wink
I guess it will have to be write-in votes.

cynthiak23, there you go, showing our ages. Poco was a great band.
Best song - "Heart of the Night."  It ran through my head throughout
Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath.

I would also vote for Poco the dog if my vote didn't already belong
to John Edwards.

Ha, and I was thinking, Poco the band, must be a new one, she can't be talking about that one from long, long ago!

I addition to being a very wise leader, Poco also has the ability to make very quick decisions & carry them out accurately & with great speed:

http://itchmoforums.com/news-recall-related/whats-killing-our-pets-are-there-toxins-in-pet-food-poor-nutrients-t1531.0.html;msg36036#msg36036

He also dresses very smartly:

(forgive me Klondike, Poco is very newsworthy & you know how all the candidates' past doings are unearthed by the press!)

Hmmm...

Maybe we need to move this post over to the pet section and start a "Dog and Cat political party". List the issues, post a poll for voters and run a Primary in February. In November 2008 we all can all vote on our favorite dog or cat presidential candidate! Grin

I shall have to write in Poco (Klondike's dog.)  Is he running as a Dem, Repub, or Independent?  (I'd guess the last.)  I love his attitude; straybaby must have been talking about him here:

He is already gathering a loyal following!

Good idea cynthiak!!  Hey I think our pets should have their own government with as much power as our current one.  Wonder how the world would look then?  Probably be hard to get a consensus between the 2 main parties, Cats & Dogs.

We can always create an Independent party consisting of birds, rabbits, horses, etc. Grin

Another good idea, cynthiak23.  We'll have to come up with a name for Poco's Party.

Klondike will have to help him sign his paw print to any and all official documents.
