Enjoyed this, Macushla, thanks for posting. I went and read some reviews of Rita Mae Brown's new book, Animal Magnetism (etc), and I'm going to see if the library has it. She's a really good writer.

I have just ordered the new Rita Mae Brown book from the library too, based upon this recommendation.  There seems to be a bit of a waiting list; I hope there are several copies in the system.

One more thing needs to be on her musings - no matter what kind of day you have had - when you open that door your pet is always glad to see you. How many humans have other humans glad to see them everyday when they arrive home and open the door.....
