From Pet Connection website:

A couple months ago the California state Department of Transportation (CalTrans) got itself in some hot water when it took the body of a service dog killed on a highway directly to a rendering plant instead of to a shelter for IDing.

Turns out the golden retriever’s body could have just been pitched over a cliff like so many others. San Francisco TV station KPIX was tipped off to the secret “pet cemetery” used by the state agency’s workers:

And the taxpayers pay these workers salaries for them to be so inhumane as to do this? What would they think if a realtive died and instead of taking the body to a funeral home it was just put into a body bag and dumped down a ravine? Maybe they could tell the family "look how much money we saved you". How disgusting they all are and have no souls or any kind of conscience either no matter what their bosses told them to do. They should have reported the whole lot of them from the bosses and owners, etc. Glad I do not have to look myself in the mirror and know that this was done cause they told me to do it! May they all meet their maker and burn for it.

May your troubles be less,
Your blessings be more,
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door

Glad that I don't live where there are cliffs or in California.    The practice of animal body dumping is terrible.   That should be stopped asap.   Makes you wonder what other bodies may be down there.   What about the smell & disease this practice  may produce?    Many organizations in the USA talk of the disgusting things occuring  in other countries  concerning animals while asking for yearly donations.   I should think that they would take a good look in their own backyard  & get those problems cleaned up first before sending graffic pictures & describing horrible situations occuring in foreign countries.
