CORONA, CA-"Newport Beach-based Master Development Corp. has signed pet food maker and distributor Waggin Train LLC of Anderson, SC to a 37-month lease for a 122,000-square-foot West Coast distribution center. The space is at MDC's 321,700-square-foot West Corona Commerce Center at 1350 Railroad St., which is a joint venture development between MDC and an institutional investment partner.

"Waggin’ Train is a leading supplier of natural jerky treats for dogs and also manufactures a number of other all-natural dog treats. According to Bryan Bentrott, MDC executive vice president, the new tenant chose the building for its significant rental discount for companies relocating from Orange County or expanding from adjacent markets. In addition, the building "offers excellent freeway access and a convenient location for workers living in the Inland Empire,” Bentrott says."

Will the chickens be coming from melaland to be made in to chicken jerky here in the US or will the chickens be sent to melaland first for preparation, then shipped back to be processed and sold? Exactly how is the (can't touch this) preparation and production gonna take place? Unless its CERTIFIED ORGANIC by Organic Tilth or some other reputable certifying company certainly won't be in many of our shopping carts unless someone wants to tempt fate.

May your troubles be less,
Your blessings be more,
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door
