It would be interesting to know who are the customers for such testing, and I bet it's not just PF companies.
I still have 2 cans of Campbell's Beef Broth from the Fall of 2007. Label says it contains wheat gluten. Maybe I'll have it tested.
Can't help but wonder if some of the food recalls for E. coli, botulism and salmonella are really for something else.

I sure don't think it is unreasonable to wonder. The FDA has covered up other things in the past. A co-worker of my husband's went into kidney failure during the recall period. He did have kidney disease, but that would be the group that would show the effects of low-level contamination.
