I'm looking for volunteers for a project I've wanted to do.  If anyone is interested in helping, please send me a PM.  Don't want to put anyone on the spot.  I won't be able to get started on it until next week, so let's give it until September 15th to see how many people can help.

I had mentioned before that I wanted to go through as many posts on the forum as possible and make a list of pets allegedly sickened or deceased from the recall.   You would need to jot down the member's name, pet's name, cat or dog, food if listed, and what the member posted about his/her pet; i.e., recovered or euthanized.  Members have suggested we each take a letter of the alphabet.

It's not going to be a pleasant task, and you can drop out if you can't handle it.  I know, just compiling the memorial was very difficult for me to do.  Don't know how much we can accomplish or how far we will get.

Edited to add:  Sorry.  My mind is clouded today.  I want to list all these pets here in the memorial thread so at least we on Itchmo, have counted them.  That is my only intention with this project...a memorial.

Both the blogs and Archives at PetConnection and Itchmo Blog are other places to search for pet names. I remember during March '07 many owners wrote about their pets sick and lost there.
