In memory of all the dogs and cats who suffered due to poison in their food, to their families and those who loved them..... my thoughts are with you.  {{hugs}}

To all those who continue to search for answers and bring awareness, I thank you, my cats and dogs thank you.

For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.

Also adding my voice on this very sad anniversary.  I am lighting a candle in memory of all the pets who suffered and died as a result of the largest pet food recall in history beginning March 16, 2007, and with thoughts for their families.

And for those of you who are newer and may not know, this is the reason the ItchmoForums website got started, as a way of comparing notes, sharing information, and providing support.

Thank you, JustMe and catbird for posting this.  We lost our girl 5 years ago on March 11th.  I will never forget her awful death but I will also never forget my sweet girl who was my soulmate.  We talk about her almost every day and I feel her with me alot.  I still feel like Im missing part of my soul after losing her.  Everyone, both pets and humans, who were affected by this, are in my heart today.   Im so glad we still have this wonderful place filled with kind, caring people to go to.

I will never forget watching tv five years ago when the bad pet food story first broke on the news,,,, and then the  awful and sudden knowing that my Purry and Clarissa who had mysteriously quickly become ill and died in the couple of months previously...were poisoned by their favorite foods
None of us will ever forget...ever....

To this day every time I open a can of cat food I worry. (nobody likes my homemade attempts..)

I am grateful however for finding Itchmo and having such wonderful friends here. Thank you all for being here.

I remember that day, and the fear. How we stopped all canned foods because we knew it would go much further than they were saying...

I didn't lose any of my babies or have them left ill, but I know that for those who did it has been so terribly painful and it makes me so sad. I will never forget the poor animals who were lost, and their families.

I too am grateful for finding such a compassionate and vigilant forum.

Prayers on this sad day of remembrance for all who lost their beloved pets.  Even though I did not suffer a loss, my concern about the food brought me to Itchmo shortly after the recalls started.  I continue to find the compassion and desire to help others by those on this forum to be amazing.

I will never forget that day or all the animals that suffered. It will go with me to my grave. Thanks for posting this, JM. Peace and love to all those that have passed and all their parents who are forever missing them.

My little babies, you'll always be in my heart. Mom will see you later. Look after each other, ok?

Thanks for posting.
We must never forget the pets that are gone because of some greedy pet food suppliers.
Let's all light a candle.
Thanks JustMe and catbird for this forum.

Exactly five years ago today, my darling Callie died from a pouch of Nutro. Just one pouch. I'll always feel guilty.

To everyone who lost a beloved, I really understand.

In Memory, we will never forget. To all the pets around the world, there is a very special place at the bridge for you.We will honer your memory forever.
It seems like just a short time, but it did bring us all together with a bond we will have forever.
To the pets and to the people on here, - I will light my candle
