My RB Angels Elvis, 1991-2010, and Twit, 2001-2010

Another sad anniverary.  My thoughts this weekend turned (as they do quite often) to the safety of our pets' food and of our own food supply.  Does not seem like much has changed in the past 8 years.  We still have recalls of our pets' food on an almost monthly basis it seems.  We still have to search the ingredient lists on each food and analyze the ingredients, and hope the manufacturer put in the right ingredients, amount of ingredients and tested them beforehand.  I grow so tired of wondering about food safety. Those who lost a family member (AKA pet) , had a sick family member, or worried about their family members are always in my thoughts and prayers.  Geez....what a a nightmare this is.  It used to be so simple to just open a box or bag or can of food....... or dispense a medication.

{{Hugs}} for all those affected by this nightmare.   Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry for our family members (pets).

I will always remember the victims and survivors of the 2007 North American Pet Food Recalls and the friends I made her on Itchmo.  May God bless.

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.

I agree the worst part is it feels like nothing much has changed . Other than our awareness of checking all ingredients & origins .

The only thing I think that has changed is that some of us are more aware now. I also remember all of our angels . . . it doesn't seem possible that it's been 8 years. I know that many of CJ's issues were a direct result of her being poisoned. It was just luck that none of the others ate the Nutro pouches that she did or I'd have many more angels.
Thinking of all of you today.
