Please tell me what you are currently feeding wet & dry to your cats & your experiences with foods. I am looking into getting a canned with more proteins and a lot less or zero grains in wet & dry cat foods.Looking also for higher end foods other than Friskies i currently am feeding. Thank you AM&KM1

Raw , home cooked, some Dave's, some BFF & Weruva packets, Weruva cats in the kitchen cans , Go cans, Applaws cans , have tried 2 flavors of the new Wellness which were well received , Bravo & Weruva & Grandma Lucy's freeze dried treats, Stella & Chewy's freeze dried raw & treats, Friskies party mix treats . Oreo only gets a tiny bit of dry for when we are all at work, it's usually a mix of Fromm's or Verus with some Purina Pro plan & a tiny bit of Meow mix soft centers . I know yuck ! But he won't eat any dry without a little meow mix in it & he won't eat at all without a spoonful of dry in the bowl . Since becoming the only pet , he has learned there is no one to eat what he walks away from . Hwe loves the new fish flavored Fromm's dry , but it has peas & he is starting to scratch his ears .

I think Friskies classic pates (not gravy kinds) are fine for protein and carbohydrate levels.  Ingredients are another question (fish is in a lot of them).  I use them occasionally, and my cats all like them.

We use Weruva paw lickin chicken.  Also Instinctive Choice, but that's mail order, and only 3oz cans (1 of my 4 cats won't eat it).  Also use Precise brand, and Earthborn chicken cattchiatore.  Nature's variety Instinct rabbit (that's the only one they like, and only now and then)

Our kibble is Annamaet grain free chicken & fish.  Might try the new formulation of Verus.  I've also used Simply Nourish, which is at PetSmart.

Right now we're on limited ingredient duck by Natures Variety Instinct to try and deal with possible food allergies. Can't tell yet if it's going to work for us, but everyone here likes it.
Tommy gets Friskies wet and the same kibble the inside cats get.
No problems with any of it.

Kozy is eating canned Wellness Core Indoors.  It's grain-free and higher in protein but less in fat.  It's also fish-free.  He loves it and hasn't had any issues at all eating it.  It runs $2 for 5.5 oz can.

He eats prescription (dry) RC Satiety.

Good luck in your quest!

canned:  By nature 95% chicken & chicken liver or Dave's chicken formula, around $1.23/can, but my store gives a discount if I buy by the case.  I also like the Hounds & Gatos 98% chicken formula, but it's much more expensive.

dry:  I have a bag of Great Life chicken I found at the pet-valu near my work.  I have not found it anywhere else, but it has good ingredients, if you ignore the fruit in it.   Tongue  Bella likes it, though she doesn't do more than nibble at it when I do give her a few pieces.  I think Bisi eats it mostly.  It's my "You already had 2 servings of canned food" response to her "I'm hungry" pleas.

I have been feeding a mixture of things lately.

Bella gets Dave's Formula Turkey or Chicken, and a little bit of whatever I am feeding Bisi in it, just to keep her from being bored.
This week, Bisi is getting Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Fowl Bowl, with a little of whatever Bella is eating (because apparently, she doesn't LIKE Fowl Bowl  Angry ).
Beau gets his prescription food with a little of whatever Bisi is getting mixed in.

Once every couple weeks, I throw a little fish in, to keep everyone's coats nice and shiny.

Beau is eating his food without any fortiflora added, and he eats his Vets Best Urinary Support Tablet.  Actually, he DEMANDS his tablet, after he finishes his food, and gets very vocal if I don't give it to him. LOL

Bella just feels lucky to eat her food, since the maus don't like it if she has food after they have finished theirs.

And Bisi leaves her bowl with a smidgeon of chicken left over for Beau so that he'll leave food for her, which he does, and then I come along and take it away from her.

Next order, I"ll probably return to Earthborn chicken cattchatori

Still feeding Friskies pates and a small amount of Purina Naturals for crunchies. Temptations Naturals treats. No issues. Knock on wood.

Changes frequently as cats get fussy and change their preferences:  Tongue
The wet food "Meals of the Moment":
Prairie Homestyle Stews: Lamb, Chick&Tuna, sometimes Turkey rarely Beef
Earthborn: Chicken Cattciatore, Harbor Harvest, sometimes Monterey Medley
Blue Healthy Gourmet Flaked, both the Tuna and Turkey
Fussie Cat Chicken with Vegetables
Fancy Feast Classic flavors mainly for fussy Bugaboo usually fish
Occasional Friskies Pate flavors
Occasional too, things I pick up a few cans here and there like Whole Foods brand cat food

For the little bit of dry she gets: -Wellness Indoor.

For the wet food she will actually accept on her menu: -Weruva Cats in the Kitchen: Tu Tu Tango (Turkey & Tuna)
                                                                               - Weruva Cats in the Kitchen: Kitty Gone Wild (Salmon)
                                                                               - Tiki Cat- Manana Grill (Ahi Tuna)
                                                                               - Tiki Cat- Papeekeo Luau (Tuna & Mackeral)

Supplemented (unfortunately) with the only non-fish canned she will eat: -Royal Canin- Adult or Spayed & Neutered

I have searched high and low for some better quality non-fish flavour and she has turned them all down! I don't think there is a brand left I haven't tried Sad
