Per Offy's (Beyond_pissed) post.

http://itchmoforums.com/cat-food-experiences-by-brand/precise-precept-cat-foods-t8099.0.html;msg123136#msg123136

Per Precise Pet Products, Texas Farm Products Company, Nacogdoches, Texas

They do not use Trouw Nutrition to formulate their premixes.

Per Merrick's Customer Service: "I just spoke with our Quality Control Team and we do NOT purchase any of our premixes or products from this supplier."

What about Brenton Weaver's post here as a company representative just about a year ago that they were using Trouw in May 2008?

Just me, how did you find out about Trouw premixes? Is it made in Indonesia?  Are all the pet food co.'s using their product, except for the ones you have listed?  I can't believe that we have this to worry about now, We were using TOTW, until I got wise about the fish meal, it all contains Ethoxiquin if it is intended for pet foods.

Got the email reply from Nature's Logic.The first 1 was asking who I spoke to on Fri & why I was concerned,here is the 2nd 1;
----.
 I guess I figured out the answer to my question to you in a previous email. I assume Trouw Nutrition is the supplier  of the premix to Nutro that was mixed incorrectly with too much zinc.
 No we not only do not buy from Trouw, we are the only dry and canned pet food in the world that uses "no" man-made synthetic vitamin/mineral premix. All of our nutrients come from our whole food ingredients. "All" other commercial dry and canned diets use these premixes in which mistakes can be made.
  It not only happened recently  with Nutro , it happened about 3 weeks ago and killed 21 polo horses. The pharmacy mixed in too much selenium [probably synthetic sodium selenite] and caused all the horses to go into renal failure. It happened with Royal Canin vet diets in 2006 when too much man-made Vitamin D3 was mixed in their premixes and caused the death of numerous cats and dogs from hypercalcemia and renal failure.
  If someone wants to be very safe with their pet foods,Nature's Logic is the only brand in the world with "no" vitamin/mineral premix at all.
Sincerely,
Scott Freeman.

Per Del Monte Consumer Affairs: "Del Monte Pet Products is aware of this situation and our products have not been recalled. We do not use the same mineral mix supplier as Nutro."
