Yeah, I am going to have to find a treat that the cats don't like.  I was trying to treat Daisy last night every time she was "quiet" instead of barking at the neighbors walking by.  It was kind of hard with two cats hovering around the bag on my lap.

Why do cats always jump on your lap with their claws out?  Especially when you are wearing shorts?

The treats sound like a good idea. I have 2 Doxies, well, my DH has. I have a big dog. but they will snap if children come running at them.
see if the children could sit down even, and have Daisy come to them for the snack.
If not, well i really don't blame Daisy. Small children scare Me too. but i'm not allowed to bite. And running children, i run the other way Grin

I used Bark Busters for my dog's seperation anxiety.  The trainer told me she works with lots of dogs who nip and bite.  It's kind of expensive, but it is for the life of the dog.  I'm really happy I did it.  The trainer has been to my house 3 times and we've worked on other things too, like not entering the foyer when I open the door, better leash walking behavior and recall.  Might be worth checking out.
