Pennsylvania-Monroe County-http://www.monroe-animals.org/about.htmlMonroe Animal League P. O Box 23 East Stroudsburg PA 18360 570-476-8444The league urges all pet owners to have their pets spayed/neutered, and via public donations, fund raisers, and the cooperation of many Monroe County veterinarians, we assist pet owners who cannot afford to have their pets altered through our low-cost spay/neuter program. If done at an early age, there may be a cost savings and health benefits to your pet. When animal emergencies occur, we will assist in an emergency to ensure the animal is seen by a veterinarian.

Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh-http://animalcarefund.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=57&Itemid=80Animal Care & Assistance Fund 4514 Plummer Street Pittsburgh, PA 15201 info@animalcarefund.org 412-348-2588 Emergency Assistance Fund
Pets are a vital part of many families, yet every year more than one million pets go without critical veterinary care in the United States. Although there is a financial responsibility in caring for a beloved pet, it is devastating when an owner’s financial situation makes them unable to provide veterinary care for a treatable, yet life-threatening condition. Often animals are euthanized, or suffer needlessly, because their owners cannot afford medical treatment or life-sustaining medication. Unfortunately, this heartbreak is all too familiar to the elderly, the disabled, those on a fixed income, or others who may be experiencing financial hardship.http://animalcarefund.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=61&Itemid=86It is our objective to offer pet owners in financial crisis an alternative to euthanasia when their pet faces a treatable yet life-threatening condition.
Due to our limited funding availability, only pets seen at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center are eligible for consideration. We are designed as a one-time benefit in most situations.Application at link.
