I went to Atwoods and they do not have any of the recalled food on their shelfs. Smiley

what foods are they carrying and how are they reassuring you that it is safe?  Just very curious as I have been going to PetSmart for pet food...and I'm still quite leary of buying anything for my babies.

PetsMart?   Huh Really??  PetsMart still sells many brands that have been on the recall lists.  Yes, they pull recalled products, but they are pulling only the formulas that have been recalled, and only then if the cans or bags fall in the specified recall production runs.  You did hear about one of the big-box retailers pulling recalled foods on the day shift, and the night stockers putting it back on the shelf, didn't you?
I would trust small, locally owned companies with smaller inventory and staff more than huge national retailers, but that's just me...

yeah Pet Smart ...however with the help of daily alert e-mailed info to me by the national pet foundation, on any new alerts, *la sigh* and all the posts here from other ppl doing their homework AND reading labels on tons of products, our 5 cats and one 13 yr old dog are still ok.  I have to say thanks to the few okies posting here that have given my husband and I alternative places to shop.
I've been learning my way around tulsa for almost four years now since this is not my 'home turf' Wink
