Could it be that all the consumer efforts made to tell the government consumers want safer food
and to adopt more of Europe's precautions - if not proven safe, don't use it -- are getting heard a
little? Sometimes you feel like you're yelling in a vacuum and no one is listening. Yea, government!!!
Keep it up. If meat producers would adopt safer and cleaner practices, that might help save lives, too.

Thx for the link. States that people are freaking out about ammonia being used in the meat and the USDA is not gonna take on anymore consumers at this point with another processing aid (and one that would not be on the label of the meat either if the meat processors have their say). Glad they are not going to let any of them take the easy, lazy way out to blast meat with radiation - NO THANKS.
