Some photos from yesterday hike, the first part was through a forrest, nicely shaded so not too hot, only difficulty was muddy path because in some parts the stream was flowing over the trail, then second part was a lengthy climb without any shade (ouch). t is a pity it was hazy, the view was magnificent from the top.

Then second part:

Gorgeous photos, thank you so much for sharing, AlekO.  If I were  much younger, I would want to plan a trip.  I've always thought Hong Kong was a fascinating spot.

Before your pictures - every scene of Hong Kong I saw would only be of a city skyline.
Your pics are just spectacular!

Alek0, are you hearing any concern or warnings regarding Super Typhoon Usagi?  It looks like it is headed right for you.  I've been keeping an eye on it.  It looks impressive!  Fingers crossed it changes course and goes away from you.

Wow!  This looks really serious and dangerous!  Alek, I hope that you and the kitties will not be affected.  Keep us updated if you can.

I'm quite worried!  Alek0, please stay safe and check in with us as soon as you can.  The forecast is that it will be weaken after it passes near Taiwan, but it will still be a Category 2 when it arrives near Hong Kong.

I'm a little relieved because the latest track shows it as a Cat.1 when it hits land.  It's still nothing to mess with, though.
