The ones I watch are simple. Not a ton of ingredients, mostly fresh foods and simple prep and cooking. When I choose recipes off the food network site, I usually pick from about 4 or 5 of the chefs for that reason. They don't use a lot of fancy stuff and everything is pretty much fresh ingredients. And I'm not going to be in the kitchen forever or stressing out.

I did replace all my spices with organic last year after looking at the import rejection list! It came in handy because I needed chinese 5 spice for a recipe the other night and had all the spices so blended my own. I make my own pickling spices also.
