Absolutely! Those cakes are 1000 times better than the ones offered by any of the cake makers around here.

Such a talent.

Thanks everyone! Bf has also eaten the lemon cream I reserved for decorating the cake, grrrrr, so I had to cover it with coconut flakes, argh. Fortunately it is lemon-based so coconut goes well with it. Cookie-crumbs-orange base, lemon sponge, lemon-mascarpone cream, raspberry marmalade and fresh raspberries:

Yes, I've made the base for the arrangement, too. Basically I just covered a small cake dummy spacer with fondant, added fondant pleats all around (for red and purple pattern, I just cut shapes separately, stuck them on white and then after rolling over them with textured pi  it looks like printed cloth). Here is just the base:

I like the contrast of the bright colored flowers agaist the white coconut. Guess he is off his diet huh ?

Yup, he is no longer on diet, he doesn't really need it but before referee fitness test which is twice a year he suddenly becomes calorie paranoid, though he still doesn't want to give up sweets.

That cake is almost gone already, anybody care for some muffins (hazelnuts, kiwi, strawberries with redcurrant glaze and decorated with caramel):

Those are just gorgeous. If I was confronted with such a beautiful cake, it would put me in an awful bind - I'd want to "have my cake and eat it too". Grin
