Hope everyone is having a Happy Thanksgiving.  Thank you for being there for me, I'm so thankful for having my Itchmo Family.

Wish I could say that this has been a good day, but isn't.  First day in five weeks to be off and was looking forward to sleeping in, only to be awaken by the police department to say that the business I co-own was broken int this morning.  Thousands of dollars in damages and stolen property.  Took all morning to get things boarded up, inventoried, you name it.  They knew what they were doing.  Turned off the power to the building so alarms never went off and rendered cameras inoperative.  A good samaratian at least noticed the door was broken and called the police who in turn notified us.  Just got home and have no desire to even think about putting a turkey on or starting the holiday cooking.  I am thankful nobody was in the facilitiy when it was robbed or was hurt, but it is just so disheartening.

Thanks again for letting me boo-hoo to you.  Just needed to let out my disappointment somewhere.  May everyone else be having a much more happier holiday.

Aaaw darn it Tesla, I am so sorry to hear this!  It really does sound like they know what they were doing as far as how they did the break-in.  There are really some creeps in this world.  I really hope that you can recover whats left of your day off but Im sure things for you will really be solemn.  I will be thinking of you today and hope that your dinner at least goes alright.  Sending major {{hugs}} your way.

What a nasty thing to do to someone. I'm glad that no one was there, but so sorry that these people felt that had the right to violate your business and destroy your property. You can come here to share your feelings any and all times. I don't know how some people can look themselves in the mirror ~ I hope that you will be able to recover from this crime.

Darn it anyway!!! 

I hope you can have some semblence of Thanksgiving, although it's probably the furthest thing from your mind right now.

What a terrible thing to do to someone on Thanksgiving Day of all days! I hope that the police can catch the thieves that did to your business. I hope that you have enough insurance to cover all of your losses.

Thanks all.  It has been a real difficult day.  Luckily, my BIL started cooking after we called him with the situation this am. After I got home,  I prepared all the sides I needed to and sent them over to my MIL's home.  I just couldn't go through the whole Thanksgiving thing today.  I really needed some time to myself and couldn't handle putting on the fake smiles.  Instead, I took a long walk alone with my dogs to clear my mind and find peace and forgiveness in my heart. 

Unfortunately, I work another job, so tomorrow I will have to go to my other place of employment while my business partner starts making calls to the insurance company, etc.  When I get off, I will go and start helping take care of as much as I can considering it is a holiday weekend.  Tomorrow, we will be opening the business and getting on with what we can with what we have.  We own a drycleaner&laundromat comb and thousands of dollars in garments were taken in the burgulary.  We will now have the very difficult task of contacting customers, dealing with irrate customers as they discover their property has been stolen and going through the whole claims process.  It will take weeks to get to the bottom line as to what and how much monentarily has been stolen.  That doesn't even touch the damages that they did to the business and equipment itself.  I will be going back in tonight to continue compiling a list of stolen property so that we can be ready to contact as many people as we can tomorrow.

Oh well, no rest for the weary as they say.  God bless you all for you kind thoughts and prayers.

I guess the hardest part, is I work my butt off to just keep my head above water and some jerk takes what I've worked so hard for/on.
That alone,  I think I could get over, but the whole feeling of being violated just has almost made me feel like just shutting down.  I know I have to shake this feeling, but I can't help but take it personally and I JUST FEEL VIOLATED!

I'm so sorry to hear this, Tesla. I hope the police can catch up with these sorry thieves. Will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. And I hope you can have some sort of holiday, as much as possible.

I'm so sorry Tesla, that this happened to You. I do know how you feel- violated.
We just got a call from the sheriffs' office asking if We had heard anything about what was stolen. No, they don't have a clue. and now, I dought they ever will. And the paperwork is just terrible.
But like Brandon said- we can't give up or give in to these kind of people.
Things will get better. just take one day at a time, like I do.

I am so sorry to hear about the breakin Tesla. You already had enough to worry about ! Please don't give up the business,that will just let the thieves win totally. I am very thankful you and your partner weren't there,you could have been badly hurt ! I know things are bad for everyone financially now, but what kind of people do this to others ? First Trudy's sheds and now you on Thanksgiving. I hope you both at least have the satisfaction of them being caught by the police.

Tesla just read about those who felt it was help yourself time at your company. What a rotten thing to do. I was robbed when I lived in an apartment and know full well the feeling of being 'violated' which is akin to rape and is a devastating feeling. You have just got to be strong and work thru this as we all know you will. It will seem like a near impossible thing to do but your starting uphill to begin and once you reach the peak the rest will be smooth and all downhill. Reports, paper work, claims, etc. it is daunting but its a needful thing you're doing for your own sanity to prove that no jerkoff can beat you down-dont' give in or give up.
