Just called Kraft foods (877/677-3268) and learned that their Planters Kettle Roasted Peanuts can be from China, India, South Africa, or the US.

The customer service couldn't tell me if the food has been irradiated, or if it has been tested for anything.

Cross another one off the list.

I'm going to keep on calling these companies.  It's a good opportunity to give them your two cents worth about all this imported food that's not identified as such.

Told the Kraft rep that if I can't read the package and tell where it was grown and where it was packaged, it goes in the trash.
