The raindrop one is so cool! Especially the lighting on the water droplets. How did you take that close-up picture without casting a shadow on it? You always see me orbiting around small things like a silly goose trying to find the shadow-free angle.  Grin

In other news, my tiny succulent is opening to let new growth out. I hope this is normal for winter!

It's about 1/2 inch across - really small!

Hello again Ned.   I haven't been here for a very long time, and am very glad to be back.

What a delight to see your lovely photographs upon my return. The precious little mergansers are marvelous and the little fuzzy fellow too.  I love the gorgeous red leaf and the  water droplets on the other leaf are absolutely marvelous, what a superb job you did with that photo!!  I particularly love the shading in the droplets, just perfection!!    Thank you so much for sharing with us.
