Hope everyone is doing OK with all those crazy storms everywhere.

We are having a pretty bad typhoon here, but so far so good. Hope everyone on east coast is safe.

Not storms here but the gas explosions have created a lot issues here.

We are north of the hurricane .Hoping we don't get much rain from it though , the ground is saturated here.

Hope everyone is doing OK.

Here typhoon passed without damaging two nuclear power plants on China side where it made a landfall (Yaaaayyyy! That was the part which worried me most). Kitties weren't upset at all, except when ironing board fell down in the storeroom because the building was swaying in the wind. They were mostly at the window, looking at the rain and trying to spot things carried in the wind. Fortunately no deaths, but quite a bit of damage and there will be a need for extensive clean up of roads to remove fallen trees. Most of the city has electricity and water since the infrastructure is underground, though some remote villages are affected. Things should be more or less back to normal within a day or two.

Here are some clips form the typhoon:

Glad to hear you're OK alek0. I've seen some of the news reports and it looked pretty bad.

Japan has also been having wacky weather with record-breaking heat this summer.  We had the most incredible lightening and thunder storm about a month ago, then a couple weeks ago we had our "worst-in-25-years" typhoon-hurricane.

Glad to hear everyone here and there are well albeit all the scary weather news.  Stay safe.  <3
