Ned, its beautiful!  I have no talent at all so I always admire people that can do this type of stuff.  The stitches (is that what you call it) are so neat and lined up.  Its very well made!  If Sophs was there, she could help by giving it that worn in look with her claws.   Wink  Shocked

P.S.  You could sell something like that on Etsy.

Love the hat! Is it knit or crochet? (If crochet, I'd love the pattern)

Great job! I have no talent for any kind of stuff with needles, sometimes I even use superglue to reattach buttons  Embarrassed I do have to say that buttons attached with superglue tend to stay in place practically forever, those sewn on eventually fall off again Smiley

Thanks everyone! I was really happy it actually came out right because I changed the pattern to what looked better to me. But I really don't know what I'm doing!

catmom5, this is a knitted pattern. There is a similar crocheted pattern here:

http://www.rheatheylia.com/index.php?page=patterns

It's the Divine hat!

Alek, I have never heard of superglueing buttons! That's pretty clever. One trick to sewing on buttons is to use dental floss. That stuff never breaks!

Sandi, I was thinking of making little hats for the cats. Maybe I'll make one for Sophers! But then she'll blame you for it! I'll be off the hook though. Grin

Beautifully done, Ned. The way those raised areas cross the main stitching really catches the eye.

Ned, if I even so much as thought of putting a hat on Sophers, she would kill me, I know this to be very true.   Cheesy  You are a vewy bwave person trying it on your two.  You might want to let us know before you put them on in case we need to send out a search party.   Grin

Great Wingspan, Ned!  Is that Kauni?   (I have a ball of rainbow Kauni but I'm not quite sure what to turn it into yet.)  Is the hat Noro, or did you hand-dye the yarn?

I have to say, the bright colors set off the black cats beautifully.  (It seems they know, doesn't it?)
