Wow!  That hibiscus just pops right off the screen!  It is really beautiful!  I have never seen anything like the bug hotel.  What an interesting thing for them to do!  The sky showing through the leaves makes a very unique picture.  Were there bees in those Honey Huts?

Thanks!  Mandy, yes the bees are there in the huts although I didn't see as many as I have in the past.  I have no idea if/how they survive the cold spell we've had this week.  I know they are taken care of, so I won't worry too much.

Here are a couple more from the greenhouse, I need to see the bright colors.

Fantastic bright colors!  They are lovely and warm pictures to have on a cold and drippy day here.

Ah, these colors are really what I need in this cold, dark, dreary time of year. Your lovely photos were one of the best things that happened all day.

Awesome pics, Fizzy. The Fall Sunset one is just amazing colors. Are the sunsets always like that?  I think I would just be mesmerized and get nothing done!

Great pictures Fizzy! Pictures with snow always fascinate me since I've never really experienced it. Look at the way it sits on the branches! It's like magic.

Outstanding photos, Fizzy! The colors are outstanding, and the blk and wtes have so much atmosphere to them. Love that horse nose, and the ways you are capturing foliage, flowers, branches.

I learned to type on those manual typewriters also, and had several typing jobs using them. Hard to imagine now. My husband used and experimented with the old darkroom techniques. I never got into that, I liked to point and shoot; but I did use a copy camera at work, it was about he size of a Volkswagon. Those are of course, also completely obsolete in the present day.

Hi!  I can't believe it's been so long since I posted here.  Here are some recent shots from late summer and early fall.

The summit of Mount Evans, looking east towards Denver.  We got snowed on at the top.  In August!  It was very hazy which gave some depth to the different layers of mountains.

I found this frog in the Water Garden at Hudson Gardens, just very content to let me snap away.
