These are spectacular, Fizzy1! I always enjoy landscapes, and I especially love the frog with the perfect reflection and the color in the ripples.

I've missed these walks! Gorgeous, gorgeous fall colors. And the frog! My fav is the Hudson Gardens bench though. So tranquil.

Thank you for the nice words!  GKit, I've been missing my walks, too.  I need to get back in the habit.

DH retired in December, I now have walking company!  woohoo!  The last few weeks we've been finding little painted rocks placed randomly at the Mansion, and along the greenbelt walkways.  We wondered what the heck?  And then there was an article in the local paper about the Highlands Ranch Rocks.  I guess there is a movement going across the country where people paint rocks and leave them to be found by others.  Some have inspiring messages, others are just cute or pretty.  People are encouraged to either leave them as they are, or move them elsewhere, or keep them if they wish.  Pretty cool!  Here are a couple we've found.  We left them for others to discover.

That is a cool idea! Maybe I'll plant some rocks myself!  Cheesy When my friends DH retired she used to joke she had half as much money and twice as much husband.  Grin

We've been checking out the various parks in our area this spring.  Here are a few pics.

Multi-family housing for double-crested cormorants and great blue herons, Belmar Park

Bald eagle taking off in search of groceries for the family, undisclosed location   Wink

Great pics, Fizzy!  That "multi-family" housing is really interesting!  lol  Never saw anything like that.  The other birds are all beautiful.  Bald eagles are my husband's favorite, and that picture is spectacular.  Thanks for sharing!

Great photos Fizzy! My favorite is the avocet. I love how you can see the talons on the bald eagle.
