Valerie Bertonelli (sp?!) plays a rancher that that wants to test her cows for BSE. Lots of clear points being made, lol!~

Edit: damn spelling/typing too fast again!

Watched it and she played a rancher that tested all her beef and wanted the right to state in her advertisement that her meat was free of BSE and they didn't want to give her that advantage as it would seem like the other ranchers beef was not as good as hers and they would lose sales. Duhhh - how many have lost sales due to salmonella ane ecoli this year alone - how many millions of pounds were recalled? That video of the cow having fallen down, too weak to stand, being pushed by a machine trying to get it to stand up again - how many millions of pounds also may just have been cross mixed with BSE animals - downer cows?

So the show was good at pointing out that the USDA is not doing its job and wanted to prevent this rancher from going about her business of selling, clean, untainted meat. If you have a conscience and want to go about good business practice and have safe, clean, uncontaminted food - thats not gonna happen then?

JJ, loved her delivery of the facts along with Spader's. Ya just couldn't argue with them and it was, well, factual!
