It is now raining so hard I can't see.  Wind just starting to roll in.

OK trees.  Hang in there.

Hope JustMe is OK.

Please, all, stay safe and weather the storm. We have less than 9 inches
of rain here annually. Don't drive into running water like all the fools here
do in thunderstorms; not safe even in a heavy SUV as many folks here in
Nevada prove every year.

I just checked in with my son who lives in a beach cottage a couple blocks up from the beach....of course he is not worried...he is 26... although he did say if it gets bad with the storm surge his "friend" Melissa said she would come and get him and have him stay with her..... Roll Eyes  My money is on he calls her anyway!

We're getting heavy rain right now, lots of it.  Of course, the dogs want to go out NOW!

Yikes, this is scary.  I hope no tornadoes come your way (or Arlo's--CT isn't that big a state.)

If anyone needs them there are tornado safety instruction links posted here in Terrible Tornados now with pictures - tried to do the link it didn't work will try again.
Lowest level of house, or in basement is safest.

I just pulled up the severe alerts map and it looks as though NYC has the tornado warning too?

I'm thinking maybe Carol, Arlo, and JustMe are heading for the basement.

Prayers being sent their way.

We are fine here in south Jersey, don't know about Scratch in northern. It seems to be totally gone now here. Talked to relatives in Richmond & DC & they are all fine too. Just wind & rain. Tornado warnings but luckily no actual tornados.Hope eveyone north fares as well with as little damage. Can see branches down, but no trees.
