Peg that is a very nice site. Silverware is either from portugal, italy or france. Nice sheets on there too, especially the percale but many $$$$ needed. So nice to look at beautiful things once in awhile and let your mind drift.....

Black & Decker's main offices and plant are located in Towson, MD, about 5 minutes from where I live.  I don't think that all of their products are manufactured right here in Towson, but I am sure that if anyone would contact them, they would tell you where a particular product is made.

JJ, this one "says" made in USA.. but I'd check /write  black & decker to make sure...

I got a reply and they said that the mixer is indeed made in china. Glad they were honest about it too. Search goes on for made in america hand mixer. Thanks again Offy.

I'm watching Cold Case and they showed a door-2-door brush salesman and it reminder me of the Fuller Brush man of my childhood. Looks like they are still an American made product:
