Peg that is a very nice site. Silverware is either from portugal, italy or france. Nice sheets on there too, especially the percale but many $$$$ needed. So nice to look at beautiful things once in awhile and let your mind drift.....

I think Black and Decker moved to China, too.

Black & Decker's main offices and plant are located in Towson, MD, about 5 minutes from where I live.  I don't think that all of their products are manufactured right here in Towson, but I am sure that if anyone would contact them, they would tell you where a particular product is made.

I got a reply and they said that the mixer is indeed made in china. Glad they were honest about it too. Search goes on for made in america hand mixer. Thanks again Offy.

I'm watching Cold Case and they showed a door-2-door brush salesman and it reminder me of the Fuller Brush man of my childhood. Looks like they are still an American made product:

After lots of searching, I finally found a source for stainless flatware that is MADE IN THE USA.

http://www.silversuperstore.com/stainless_flatware_silverware_not_made_in_china.html

Silver Superstore's flatware is manufactured by Revolution/Sherrill, and I'm told that Sherrill is the last remaining (flatware) manufacturer in the US.  How sad!

Sherrill was shut down for a while, but they recently restarted their flatware manufacturing.

We have had mice in the garage and basement this spring.  Our metal live trap wasn't doing the job so I found these on Amazon and they are made in the USA.  We set them up last night and this AM we had a catch Grin  Yay!  DH drove it about a mile away and released it in the field.  The price is amazing, the other live traps we looked at were around $30.00.
