Please read and check below in respect to rice. Is that the same as rice gluten?

Thank you!

Don't know about the rice, but noticed corn gluten meal is high on the ingredient list. Royal Canin recalled a lot of their foods in South Africa due to contaminated corn gluten meal.  I personally wouldn't feed any Royal Canin product that contained corn gluten meal.  Just my opinion....

Hi Rosemary!

"Rice" and "rice husk" are not the same as Rice Protein Concentrate.

"Rice" usually means "white rice"
"Rice husk" is the bran layer (outer covering) and germ of whole rice

I saw an ingredient here that a diabetic cat should never have, and that is "rosemary extract."  Apparently it inhibits insulin production, making a diabetes condition worse.

hope this helps

Thanks to this wonderful most helpful site I did research on vit. E pills I have and found out that any ingredient preceded with a dl-____ is SYNTHETIC not food grade at all. So many of our pets foods contain mixed tocepherols with some stating dl-_____ and then whatever the ingredient is. In post for Wellness seems to be in there two or three times. Used to feed my dog the holistic Nutro but took her off last year after discovering the vitamin K in it was synthetic and making her stomach sick. Another ingredient I found on a vitamin was Microcrystalline Cellulose which contains Aceteminophen (Tylenol) so if thats in your vitamins or pet foods throw it out as Tylenol is damaging to your liver so can you see what consuming it on a daily basis would do to you or  your pets? We need labels to show complete ingredient list and country of origin so we can make our own choices if we want to buy it or not.

May your troubles be less,
Your blessings be more,
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door
