I have locked that post to just keep it for viewing but anyone is welcome to comment on it here in this post.  I will try to keep it updated as recalls happen.

Thank you, Sandi. I think I'm wondering whether an expanded recall later on, a few months
after, either for the same product but additional lots or for different pet foods for the same cause, should be relisted and counted separately. For example, the Merrick dog treats in January and July 2010 could be listed both places(?) The way products are being recalled is confusing to me as a consumer and this helps a lot!!!

Whichever way you think, Sandi, is great. Just a matter of making it clearest to consumers and I'm not sure.

Seeing it, which way do you think is the clearest? Maybe there's something to be said for simplicity.

I think the way you suggested is fine, we can leave it this way for now and always change it later if we think its not working or if we come up with a different way to do it.

Ive updated the recap list of pet food recalls, if anyone see's anything missing, let me know, its kind of difficult keeping up with all the recalls and expansions going on lately.  Huh
