Additional Feline's Pride Recall

According to information from Feline's Pride, the cornish hen variety of Feline's Pride has also tested positive for salmonella via FDA testing.  Feline's Pride intends to have its website updated by this evening to reflect the additional recall.

FDA has not yet posted a notice about the recall for the cornish hen.

Update-as of now, there is still nothing on the Feline's Pride website and no recall posted at FDA.

Starting to look like its not just a problem with the FDA's packing without enough ice.

I agree leslie.
I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's looking kind of ugly now.

I thought they had a west coast plant as well.
I thought the Buffalo plant was to serve the east coast......not really off to a good start are they........ Tongue

Did this company post anything at their website about this recent expanded recall?  Has there been any sort of announcement by FDA on this one?

Here's the FP page about recalls.  As of yesterday, there's information saying that their chicken formula tested negative for salmonella when sent to New Jersey Feed Labs, but no further word about the cornish hen other than this:

Here's some updated info from Feline's Pride:

Shelby Gomas is a good person with a big heart.  After the Pet Food Recall of 2007, he gave me hope that there are good alternatives to the typical commercial pet foods.

I just want all PFC's whether they are raw, dry, wet to post their recalls asap at their websites, send out AP notices, announce it at Twitter, at Facebook, etc.  I dont think there should be an exception based on what type of food they sell.
