When even Banfield Pet Hospitals and VIN News estimated 30,000 to 50,000 cases* and there are over 22,000 claims in
the pet food settlement case, how can veterinarians allow this lie to be perpetutated for all time?

What's painful to me at this point, Spartycats, is that not enough has changed to protect
pets alive today. And unless veterinarians speak up and change their relationship to
pet food companies it may never be possible.

Change their relationship - why would they do that. Would that not affect the kickbacks from selling the pet food and gawd forbid, the vets would make less money cause less pets would be getting sick and not coming in to their clinics. Guess they do not go by "Do No Harm" when pets are concerned otherwise they would speak up and speak out.

Where there is money to be made, especially on a grand scale as a pet food recall where many were affected, there will be no changes. Cha Ching - keep the register ringing as some have thrown their conscience out the window.
