A friend of mine told me about this site couple days ago. It is www.tallgrassbeef.com and the site has not only healthy beef among other meat but also some selections for your pet.

On the site of www.tallgrassbeef.com/petfood/ there are 30 sites that you can click on that discuss what's really in pet food. One site in particular spells it out word for word and is a must read - http://www.gopetsamerica.com
I learned more to add to what I already had learned on this site. Everyone owes it to themselves and their pets to visit these sites.

Also they have a wealth of pet recipes to make for your lil fur babies and will fit right in with the recipes from kaffe too. Have both cat and dog food recipes so anyone can make them for their pet.

Also on the petfood section there are 16 sites that go into the pet food recall of 2007 and one site that asks "Were Our Pets Deliberately Poisoned?"

Here it is, Mary.  I couldn't find it either off the main page of gopets.  (That seems to be a pet breeder advertising page.)  But I got the pet food link via the pet food page links on the beef web site.

http://www.gopetsamerica.com/dog-health/pet-food.aspx

More and more people are making their own pet food.  Our local butcher is selling a lot of beef and lamb blends for pets.

Mary should have spelled it out differently. Glad you were able to get to the site from Klondike's help. Should have said the link to gopets is on the tallgrassbeef.com/petfood site as that is where I found all the other sites and so much information. So glad this will help anyone wanting more information on whats in pet food, recipes and info on the 2007 recalls too.
