You can always look at the Cat Food Experience Boards for canned foods for starters. Plus, this thread. http://itchmoforums.com/your-problems-with-pet-food/ask-questions-share-tips-here-on-how-to-choose-a-cat-food-t3546.0.html;msg44603#msg44603Are there any health issues with the cats you are switching to canned? If there are, that would play a part in your decision.

I just tried the Brandon Farms naturals with Jess (when he settles in for the night in HIS room ALONE) and he loves it. It's 95% meat, a few extras I'm not crazy about but can live with. It even smells like real food (and I'm a vegetarian)!! We'll see if that continues.
BTW my cats wouldn't even try the turkey treats that Mrs P gave us the recipe for a hundred years ago (just seems that long sometimes . . .) catmom5

When Geisha was at the vet last week she said wet food is so much better for them since geisha is prone to crystals, (there were none at the visit0 and since Topaz is so overweight. plus all they eat is chicken which they get sick of and canned wild salmon which makes me nervous becasue they are eating so much fish. Geisha really enjoyed those cans of RX food ICK and it made me fell bad that they might be missing something.

I've tried to keep a rotation between several brands going, noting my three cats' favorite flavors. Right now for canned I feed a lot of Wellness (emphasis on the grain-free ones), Instinct, Newman's Own, some Weruva, Pinnacle, and Precise. They absolutely will not eat home cooking - unless it's "people food" from our plates - and usually not suited for cat nutrition (pasta, pizza,etc.!). I feed dry (Wysong) too, along with the canned but only one cat is a real kibble-nut. Yes, any commercial canned food worries me after the last year's fiasco, but these brands seem good (so far) and my finicky cats will eat them. I try to keep a watch for any problems, and read about any reports of problems here, which has influenced my shopping decisions. Good luck! Meowli and the boys

Just an FYI, Brandon Farm Naturals 95% all meat wet canned cat food is manufactured by Evangers. I clarified this a while back with a lady at Blue Seal........

I think all of us are nervous about any can of food we open! I would say, look at some of the brands that have been discussed here, see what of those your cats will actually eat, and go with that. There is a thread about "what brands have you so far had no problems with." Of course, that could change any minute, but there do seem to be some consistent favorites, at least as far as not making anyone's cats seriously sick. http://itchmoforums.com/your-problems-with-pet-food/what-pet-food-have-you-used-for-a-year-with-no-problems-t4603.0.htmlI too have come to believe in rotating brands at each meal.

SHHHHH!!!!I like just about everything. Right now, I eat Wellness, Nature's Variety Instinct, Newman's, and Before Grain. Dad says we're getting too fat and for mom to give us less food. I'm not fussy, having been out on the streets when I was little(r). I think Linley knows what I'm talking about Cassi

*PPRFK. I am a Post Petfood Recall Kitty. That means my family doesn't know what I ate the first 6 months of my life or what my mom ate. They are worried about what I am eating now, so they are trying to cook for me and my housemates and keep checking the food that I eat.
