Thanks menusux...........

DH "forgot" Huh   Huh   Huh  to tell me about a small loss of a kitty meal the other night......

Baking soda worked wonderfully.

I went from the small box to the gigantic 50 lb bag Grin

ETA:  There is a small on/off switch located just inside of kitty's ear.  That is the "turn on/off shedding at the vet" switch

How about diarrhea?  Any deodorizing TIPS?  Two of my kittens have diarrhea.  The tortie pooped behind my other computer desk twice today inside all the wiring.  Strange.  A cat I had 20 years with IBD used to poop in the same spot.

This is an unfinished hardwood floor in that spot.   Embarrassed

Oh that must have been fun to clean up JustMe!  At least it is doo-doo and hopefully can be deodorized well enough.  BUT - I had the same problem, except with cat pee, and the only solution was to get rid of the peed on items.  Previous house - cat with bladder infection in carpted room peed repeatedly behind computer all over wiring and soaked carpet.  Had to pull up carpet and paint hardwood floor with shellac-based primer, about 4 coats, then recarpet.

New house, wood floor, no carpet, but same wiring and desk.  Feral cat chose to use that as the litter box while going through terrified transition phase.  Now that floor is painted out.  I finally got rid of the desk and wiring, which is what she keyed in on in the new house.  Hope you can get that poop smell out!

It does not work perfectly. But I have own carpet cleaner machine. Don't
want to use lots of chemicals everywhere. And you wouldn't believe the number
of accidents and vomit spots I've had in the last year and a half. So do small sections.
spray stained areas only with Resolve about a half hour before cleaning area. Then only use
water in the carpet cleaner. Doesn't remove all stains, but seems to deodorize effectively.

Since Jasper occassionally get the "runs" and on occassion accidently "misses" peeing in the litter box, I have been using two products from Petrotech, one is for wood & tile and the other is for carpet. I believe they make a litter box deodorizer also. Their products are all natural and non toxic. They are great for eliminating odors and stains. I purchase mine at Petsmart or PetsSupplies plus.
