So we can understand how a little tiny snake went undiscovered til now.  It is hard to see!

But how did we miss the Snubbed Fin Dolpin?

Why do cats always jump on your lap with their claws out?  Especially when you are wearing shorts?

Boy, that does make you wonder, Bridgett.  With the Navy leaking radiation all over the place, we could be getting some rapid species development.

Here are some pics & text for those of us slow pokes that still have dialup - I have to say those mini snakes are much cuter.  Very interesting that they are just understanding that they are  a new species of dolphin.  Good for them that they stay away from people!!

No need to bother Bridgett, everyone posts lots of videos here.  There's just a few of us on dial-up, so it's up to us to find alternate sources of materials on some topics.  Today I googled something and all that came up was links to videos!

Bridgett maybe the snub  nosed dolphin was not found until a few yrs ago is that the depleted uranium used in the war and the radiation leaks from ships and other sea vessels might be causing DNA screw ups in the sea animals and creating characteristics never seen before due to the radiation and depleted uranium IMO. Remember when the frogs were being born with extra legs and screwed up? How many  other species are being affected by these leaks in the air and water?

I am finally getting internet acess at home.  Yes, all of my surfing/posting I do here at work! Shame on me.  But we had a good offer on a software package from work so I decided to bite the bullet and get access through Qwest.  Apparently this program doesn't work without access. ugh!  But I provided alot of entertainment for our systems administrators who laughed their heads off when they found out I didn't have internet at home.  Apparently, I am on the person on the planet without access at home.

Klondike and JJ,

I prefer to keep the happier thought (slightly) that this dolphin has always been there.  But because of enviromental impacts it has moved into an area it didn't typically inhabit and that led them to be "discovered" by scientists.  Hopefully, we will have enough time to learn about them before all the nuclear waste kills them off.  Tongue
