I will see you soon my little boy! Momma loves you

« on: September 18, 2009, 09:34:19 AM »

I just wanted to post...  I felt so bad when I read that Jessica Simpson's little dog was taken by a coyote. It appears as if she really loved that little dog, named Daisy.  I pray that the little dog is unharmed and finds her way home...  I read that she hired a search team to look for her baby, but the search was called off today.  They even had search dogs looking...  I also read that they had hopes of finding her because the coyote that took her and then vanished looked like a young coyote.

Maybe you might be right but chances are if an wild animal is hungry and a person's pet is loose with no one around - the chances seem pretty slim. But miracles do happen.

I agree with you JJ, chances are slim... just shows us how we have to watch out babies so carefully all of the time...

That is sad. I agree chances of finding the dog alright are very slim. Just 1 more problem from our housing pushing out the wildlife.

That is so very sad!

The more land has been deforested around us - by others, not by us or our immediate environmentally-minded neighbors - over the years, the more the coyotes outcompete the other wildlife and increase their numbers. They are more adaptable than other animals.

How heartbreaking.  I have heard coyotes howling in the hills around here the past few nights.  I hope they stay there.

Yes that is what I think is happening too... just as both of you say.  No where to go for wildlife...  My home town in Arizona we would have wild mountain lions they are so misunderstood but WE are invading their space, not the other way around yet they pay the price...

I do feel so badly for the poor little dog...  I pray he didn't suffer.  I just cant ever imagine putting myself in their shoes... to lose your baby, your child, in a second like that...

Catbird, keep your babies inside...  I hope so too.
