Interesting article Klondike, thank you.  My moms dog has one last treatment left on her chemo for her lymphoma, after that is waiting and worrying as in all probability its just a matter of time before it resurfaces, we are hoping it will be later rather than sooner.   Sad

Sandi hope that your moms dog beats the cancer. My dog Lady and I beat her cancer. I opted for radiation treatments and it was her kidneys that did her in (from the dog food and didn't know it at the time) but the cancer was gone so will say a prayer that her dog will beat it too. Remember have to treat them just as you did before they got sick cause if too much is amiss with them they feel it and like us like things normal as possible.

jj you are so right---Harry's oncologist told us to treat him like he was not ill when his cancer came back...and for a while we were able to and I know that he could feel our concerns near the end---last summer we really were not thinking of him as being ill as he was only feeling badly with what we did to try to get rid of that cancer and he had a really great summer....

sometimes the best treatment one can get from a vet/oncologist is words...not always medicine!

I'm praying it will be much, much later if it ever happens.  I just read that cures are achieved and if lymphoma does return, another remission can be induced.  I hope she feels better soon.
