 Tongue

Is there any updated way to post photos without the hassle of uploading, resizing, and saving each photo one by one?  I've been using Photobucket but the process is so time consuming.

If there's not a new fancy way, does anyone know if it's possible to resize and save several photos at a time on Photobucket?

Photobucket will soon be out of business as they have angered everyone with their abrupt decision to no longer allow 3rd party hosting unless you pay them $40 a month. You'll notice all the photos I've posted over the years look like this:

I'm currently using Imgur but am looking for something that has what you want too - bulk uploads and resizing. I don't think Imgur will have free 3rd party hosting for long.

I use Flickr, can't help you with Photobucket. Looking forward to pics, though! Grin

Oh, Ned, I did see that and saw your post about the new payment system.  For whatever reason I thought you were using an upgraded version or something and that mine was still the same... but I guess that means that I'll no longer be using Photobucket either.   Undecided

It's 2017 fer crying out loud!  Everything is just a click!  How could this be so difficult?

Is Flickr good and easy?  I guess it's the same system as Photobucket or else, you, Ned, would be using that?

Resizing photos one by one is such a hassle, holy smokes.

ETA:  Oh man.  Yeah.  My photos from all those years of posting are also displayed with that PLEASE UPDATE YOUR ACCOUNT thingy.   Sad

Oh, no!   Shocked  We have lost all of the pictures of the Larges and Tinies!!  And probably every other picture ever posted here by anyone using Photobucket!  That stinks!   Angry

Yeah, that sure does stink.  You'd think they'd not allow any photos from this year or something - not every single photo ever posted.  That's pretty dirty of them.   Sad

I guess this is why I keep getting emails saying welcome to photobucket. Angry  I don't even have that many photos with them. Hope my pictures are still there. Shocked

You would think they would have sent out a notice. At least I didn't get one. What's next Facebook going to charge for pics? Roll Eyes

I'm so challenged I barely can upload my photos there.

Your photos are still on photobucket but if you don't have them backed up on your computer at home then you should download them now before they go belly up.

If you use google's chrome browser there is an extension that will allow you to see the linked photos but the author is in a constant battle with pb to keep them visible.

For apple users there is a tutorial on setting up Workflow to automatically resize your images, upload them to Dropbox and give you a link to post to a forum. It also gives a little background on photobucket's asshattery. I may give this a try but as Dropbox is free, I expect there may be a similar problem down the line.
