Deadly pet food, lead-tainted toys, toxic shrimp. With headlines warning about an onslaught of hazardous imports, it’s no surprise that consumers are wary of products from overseas. In a nationally representative sample of people polled by Consumers Union, ninety-two percent said they wanted their food to be labeled with the country of origin.

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.

Thank you for the posting.

This is really a no-brainer. If I can make an informed choice on purchasing my pots and pans and plates based on where they are shown on the box..then I should definitely be able to make that same choice on the foods I put into my body and the bodies of my furkids and people kids.

If the industry is concerned that COOL may hurt the sales of their products, then these companies are not having their products produced in a safe place to begin with!!

mal I couldn't agree more. Products are not only not being produced in a safe place but contain toxic elements also that leach out and get into people and pets. Be wary and be informed to stay safe. Also you need to actually look on the products that are inside the box to see where they say they were made - not trust the outside of a box.

May your troubles be less,
Your blessings be more,
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door
