No Ned, not sad at all. The charms are just beautiful and very comforting.
Thank you again.

JustMe, JoMax and shadowmice,
I sent your charms out today. I hope they arrive safe and sound. I'm not sure how long they will take to get to Canada and the UK but hopefully not too long!

Thank you Ned! I suspect it will probably take a little while to get to Canada but I don't mind the wait. I just hope it arrives safely.
What you are doing is a wonderful gift from the heart. There are many places one could buy a pretty charm, but they just wouldn't have the quite same meaning as those crafted so carefully by you.

Shadowmice, if you don't mind me asking, how much Canadian return postage did you place on the envelope? I couldn't get a straight answer from the post office who said "it depends on the exchange, blah, blah." She didn't even know if it was OK to use Canadian stamps to get the envelope returned. I bought two $1 stamps, but maybe I should include more?

Ned, I really appreciate your kindness and I will do that, but now, out of curiosity, I'm going to contact the US Postal Service to find out what you're supposed to do for something like this. I might find myself in this situation at some other time.

Ned that is so nice of you to do that.
Bug just mailed two CD's each in those thin, cardboard sleeves, a b'day card inside a Do Not Bend 5 x 7 envelope to a friend about 20 mile away and it cost 4.37 at the post office so your $2 sounds like it would be more than enough. Be interesting to see what the US post ofc. tells you.

Thank you, Ned, for Pepper and Twit's charms. They are beautiful. . They arrived Saturday, but it took me all this time to get up the courage to open up the envelope.

Ned - the charm arrived perfectly, and quicker than some UK mail. Like everyone, I feel sadness and completeness mingled, It's on its own 'tree' now: a fuschia I planted with some of his ashes & put next to his favourite cushion. Ned, Thank you so much for giving me this marker of the love Max & I shared. Hugs &

I'm glad the charms arrived safely JustMe and JoMax! Leslie, I mailed yours a few days ago. You should get it soon, weather permitting! For people wanting memorial charms, here are the crystal colors I have: I picked Citrine, Aquamarine, Sapphire, Peridot and Topaz to match eye color. Fire opal I used on orange kitties! I used crystal AB for those with white fur or if I didn't know the eye color.

The charm has arrived in perfect condition. I love it. Thank you!
Sorry Bug. I missed your question earlier - I didn't get around to sorting the postage issue out - I made a donation towards the charms and Ned sent mine out without me having to worry about figuring out how to send the right postage.
