Oh, Ned! I just saw this beautiful tribute -- and you have Bones on the tree . Thank you so much . What a wonderful thought at this very tough time for you (and us). I will be in contact with you about the charm. Please just let us know when things are a little better with you and your mom. I don't want you to have to do anything until she's taken care of. Bless you, Ned. That is the best Christmas gift I'll get this year.

What an amazing, moving memorial for our dear little ones that have gone to the other side. Thank you so much for remembering them in this way, and taking the time to make the little charms. You're so talented! I'm praying for your mother today, hoping she gets through her surgery and on the road to recovery.

This thread gives me that wonderful feeling you get when you see someone being so self-less, considering Ned has had so many problems to deal with lately. Bless your heart Ned. Its special seeing all those ornaments with the names of our Itchmo friends beloved furbabies on it, a very special tree it is!

Oh, Ned - you're the jewel! How wonderful of you to include my old Lucky boy. I would love to have his charm for our family Christmas tree. This is so special. I'm touched.

Aw Ned, at first I saw the tree. Then I started reading the names. What a beautiful, thoughtful memorial.

Your unique Christmas tree with the memorial charms has given me an idea, NedF: Suppose we have an "ITCHMO MEMORIAL" Christmas tree - a small one like yours - and decorate it each year with our furry angels' mementos.... we pass it on to each member each year to display in their homes... adding more mementos on each Christmas...

Oooh, Cato, that's a neat idea -- kind of like the roaming gnomes, only with a purpose. Might be a bit pricey to ship it all over, though.

We would start with a little tree or even a Christmas wreath... but then, I expect it will GROW over the years! So, how do we make this work? Brainstorm anyone?

Too bad there is not one place that would have the tree and everyone could send or even better, donate some moola to Ned (if he would be willing to do this) and have him make the memorial charms and then the charm(s) could be sent to where the tree would be located. Easier than trying to send a tree or wreath, no? You asked for brainstorm ideas. Anyone else have anymore?

I know it would be logistally impossible for me to share hosting the tree but a couple of comments came to mind:
You could just ship the mementoes, then whoever's turn it is could supply the tree?
It would take many years to get round everyone anyhow so maybe one agreed place is a good alternative?

Yes - I think that will work! We just ship the ornaments to whoever will be hosting the Christmas Tree.
