That was so nice of your vet to make a pawprint. I'm glad she's back where she loved to be.

Scooby came home today. Unbeknownst to us the vet made a clay mold of her paw print, inscribed it with her name, and attached it to the urn with a ribbon. What a thoughtful thing to do! DH lost it when he saw it What a thoughtful thing for your vet to do. I lost it just reading what you wrote. I can only imagine how your DH must have felt. Give your DH some extra hugs. And many to yourself, as well. <<hugs>>

Oh that would be hard Fizzy, but it was so kind of your vet to think to do that. It will be so nice to have that later on. I can imagine how hard it is for you and your husband, its almost like one goes into shock for awhile afterwards.
I hope each day it gets easier and that the good memories bring smiles instead of tears very soon. Lots of {{{hugs}}}

Fizzy, Scooby was a gorgeous girl, she reminds me alot of our KiKi. We also had that special bond, its like losing your arm or something. Scooby looks like she has some Maine Coon in her. Oh its just so hard and the only thing that will help is time and knowing you gave her a wonderful loving home and she knows that. She wouldnt want you to be sad but its just the way things are right now, I know.

Oh, what a gorgeous girl -- she obviously ruled the house! Look at that expression! So fierce!
I still have dreams about the cats who were my siblings as I was growing up, and that was over 20 years ago. I miss them so much. One never forgets such a strong bond.

Couldn't help shedding a few tears myself after reading what your vet did and seeing the pictures. Prayers of peace and comfort for you and DH, I know your hearts will never stop grieving, it just gets a little easier to deal with over time. {{{{hugs}}}}
