Most of us have all followed Rufus' story, shared faithfully to us by dear Peg, his Meowmie... all the way to his last hours and final breath... Ruf-Ruf has gone ahead to heaven this morning. He and Gizmo are together again... waiting for their Meowmie and Papsie.  Rufus and Gizmo together forever and waiting for you... Peg my heart grieves with yours. Know that we are here for you - always. {{{Hugs}}} You fought for Rufus valiantly and I am sure, he has felt your love and devotion all the way. But his body was tired and his soul longed for release into the forever home where he is whole and strong and young again. We will never forget you, Rufus! |

Run free and well little Rufus. I'm sure that Gizmo will want to hear all about the things that have taken place in his home since he had to leave. I know the two of you guys will have lots of time to play together now, just as you did before.

Peg, I am so, so sorry. I know how much you loved him, and how well you cared for him. He had the grace of passing away in the place he loved to be--your arms. Orange boys are special.
