That which does not kill us makes us stronger

« on: June 07, 2008, 01:42:07 PM »

Just had to put our beautiful old girl to sleep. She could not walk or stand anymore. Her name was Margaret, meaning pearl and she was a rare pearl of great prize. She can now be with Buck, they were very close and she has missed him these past months.

Our hearts our broken once again.

Oh dear, how sad. I'm sorry you had to send your Maggie girl to the Bridge to be healed. Surely she and Buck have reconnected and are watching over you with great love and gratitude.

Blessings

My heart goes out to you & yours, db.  Maggie truly was a beautiful girl, and looks like she lived a long life too.  It's so hard to have to say that final goodby, and so soon after losing another beloved one of yours, too.  She & Buck run free together now, forever in the sun.

What a beautiful, dignified girl. She looks like a queen.

Maggie, rest in peace with your friend, Buck.

DB, like the other said, your little Maggie was so beutiful... I like to think of them becoming even more so when they cross over...  I can see her coat white as snow so silky and soft!!!  I am so sorry for your loss, I know the hurt well.  Please accept my condolences.  Little Maggie is home.  God Bless!

db:

I am so sorry......my heart breaks for you & your wife.

Such a difficult thing to lose a beloved friend but just try to imagine her running across a field with Buck, happy & healthy again.  It's the only thing that eases the pain.

I'm so sorry to read this.  Having to make that decision, even when you know it's the best decision, is just so heartbreaking.

Warm wishes to you and your family.
