I've always loved that picture.  I also love that your DH had it displayed in his office until... Harry was one in a million in so many ways! I hope the fun memories ease your sadness in missing him. |

Some of you may remember early last year after we found out Harry Hody's cancer was back---that we found out he could maybe be an extra in a film that was being filmed in RI.(sister of director met my DH when he had Harry and Lucy at his office with him)..although that never came to be I did find this trailer about the movie and wanted to share it with you guys...How I wish I could show you all my beloved and so sorely missed buddy walking by Mr Gere...but I have a feeling when (and if I can actually watch it) I will see my Hodeman on his back---belly up telling us he is "not the alpha dog"!~!! http://hachiko-dog-story-movie-trailer.blogspot.com/ |

I just now found the photo from June 30. Oh my, what absolutely gorgeous dogs, and what a perfect photo. Just precious! They almost look like twins, but Harry is larger. Thank you so much for sharing. And bless dear Harry, may he RIP. bw

Today our angel Harry celebrates 2 years at the bridge..free of pain and illness..to say we miss him any less than 2 years ago would be a huge lie...there are so many reminders of him in our everyday life (Jack) but we find our tears are less and smiles are bigger...with an occasional laugh out loud chuckle... So..today as we celebrate our Jack and his bruddah Murph's 2nd birthday..we also celebrate Harry..even though his life with us was far too short---the "life" he gave us will go on forever in our home... Headpats and kisses to you my Hodeman...you are one very special boy...  (I think seeing how he would come to sleep..was just the beginning of those wonderful memories!)  |

Oh what sweet puppies Carol, Harry is so cute in that pic, that plump puppy belly. Sending lots of {{{hugs}}} your way today. Even though I didnt live with him, he is a big part of my memories too.
